I can’t thank you enough

It’s not just a sentiment. It’s an actual campaign here at Prime Data that lasted three months. #CTYE

We wanted to thank and recognize clients, colleagues, vendors and everyone else who contributes to our success each and every day.

That’s not to say that we haven’t always been thankful, or shown it. After all we send out physical thank-you cards all the time, as it shows our commitment to the power of print.

Watch the video and you’ll see a few examples!

But it’s not just a campaign. I recently learned that you actually feel better and experience better health if you have more gratitude in your life. And who doesn’t want to feel better?

I think that, for all the gains we’ve made in this digital age, one of the things we’ve lost is authentic expressions of gratitude. Sure, it’s easy to send an email saying thanks or a couple of heart emojis.  But how much more powerful is it when something physical shows up in your mailbox? Doesn’t it feel more valuable and authentic? Long live the paper thank-you card!

It takes a second to send an email. But to actually send a card takes effort. And that effort is appreciated AND remembered. I just sent 4 this week and each one elicted a “thank you, for the thank you”.

If every company had a Chief Gratitude Officer (CGO) whose job was to make sure that a culture of gratitude was encouraged, I bet there would be a lot less client and employee churn. That’s good for people and it’s good for business.
