See you there !
On June 17th 2014 the community of Angus, Ontario was devastated by a tornado that caused massive damage when it touched down tearing up fences and shearing off the tops of some homes. The tornado left a path of destruction over 20 kilometers long. Environment Canada has suggested the EF-2 tornado had wind speeds up to 220 kilometers per hour. As well as the damage to homes the tornado toppled thousands of trees along its path. With all of the damage that the tornado caused it was fortunate that there were only a few minor injuries and no loss of life.
Dana Williams, our head of IT and Data Services lives in Angus and is leading a committee that is organizing a benefit Concert. Community members affected by the tornado on June 17th are uniting with local artists and businesses to support the Angus Tornado Relief Fund.
